Aquavit - The Restaurant and the Spirit
Aquavit is both a restaurant in NYC and a traditionally flavored spirit produced in Scandinavia. (Chef Marcus Samuelsson opened a location in Minneapolis in 1999, but it closed in June of 2003). I was determined, now living in NYC, not to miss my Scandinavian dining experience. Sunday gave me this gift, and I unwrapped it like nobody's business.
