A couple of Thanksgivings ago, I was sitting around a table with two Aunts, one Uncle, and four new friends. During this visit, a meal was served that included a wonderful dish of pesto. I finally got around to making it and was thrilled with the results. I ended up using a combination of this
recipe and the one from my Aunt and Uncle below.
__________________________
3 cups fresh basil
1/4 c. pine nuts or walnuts
3/4 c. olive oil
2 or 3 garlic cloves
3/4 tsp salt
process altogether and enjoy!

{I was on the phone with my Dad while whipping up this Pesto, so my measuring was more estimating and my capturing was limited. Totally worth it.}
