North Dakota - The New Sex in the City...well, not quite.

My brother, Brock, passed along this great article. I loved it. I love how North Dakota (because of the oil boom, the elderly, and low housing cost) beat out the prestige of solo dwelling percentage in Manhattan.



It's obvious, flying solo in Manhattan is spendy (North Dakota favorite term) and you're most likely a litte highfalutin (my Mom's favorite word), but really, its like comparing apples to oranges (or maybe beets would be more appropriate?)

However, Yay! WE WON!

Spaghetti Taco

More often than not, I don't know what my nieces are talking about. During my visit to Minnesota, they couldn't stop talking about Spaghetti Tacos. "Auntie, do you have those in NYC?" Um, no.

Research prevails, and if interested, my nieces aren't the only ones impressed by this compilation of cafeteria staples.

It was made infamous by iCarly and perfected by others. I found some good ones here and here.

Successful Saturday

Praise the long weekend! This successful Saturday had me in Minnesota, enjoying the long weekend way out from under the NYC skyscrapers and in front of serene lakefront property.

Some days, life is that good.

The only way to get to the Restaurant Capital of the World is by bike.
